Saint Petersburg, Russia, October 7, 2025Гриб Gloeophyllum odoratum наблюдается в Ленинградской области и северо-западной России. Он был обнаружен в Ботаническом саду БИН РАН в Санкт-Петербурге, а также в различных местах Павловского парка, включая Новую Сильвию. Кроме того, он был найден на пне в Посiolке возле Вырицы и на бревне возле Лисьего Носа. Также зафиксировано поражение гриба Trichoderma viride на грибах Gloeophyllum odoratum в Линдуловской Липовой роще. Гриб растет на пнях и бревнах, часто образуя коричневую гниль. Эти наблюдения были сделаны в период с 2016 по 2018 год.
